Camera Armor, a leader in protective accessories for cameras and digital SLRs, announces their first line of compact protective skins for point and shoot digital cameras. Panasonic has announced the new LUMIX DMC-FS15. a model that combines easy operation with a slim and sleek look, enabling both beginner and advanced users to take beautiful digital photos with a model they can slip in their pockets. The DMC-FS15 features a 12.1-megapixel sensor, 29mm wide-angle Leica DC VARIO-ELMAR lens with 5x optical zoom, and enhanced Intelligent Auto Mode (iA) with new AF tracking and Intelligent Exposure. The DMC-FS15 will be available in silver, black and blue at a suggested retail price (SRP) of $199.95.

Canon has replaced its popular PowerShot A470 with a new 10.0 Megapixel model: the extra-compact, affordable PowerShot A480. Breeze Systems has announced the immediate availability of NKRemote 1.0; Windows based software to control Nikon DSLR cameras from a PC. Breeze Systems’ highly regarded software has been used to control Canon cameras since 2001. NKRemote 1.0 is the first full release of similar software for Nikon DSLR cameras and currently supports the Nikon D3, D700, D300, D90 and D200.
