Mementos left behind by those who visited the Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio. Some have a special meaning connected to the deceased, but typically a small rock, stone, or piece of nature is left behind. – CEMETERY FACTS: Founded in 1869, Lake View had its first burial in 1870 and is situated on 285 acres with 70 acres remaining for future development (enough room for the next 100 years). Over 101,000 people are buried there, with burials at the rate of approximately 700 per year including cremations, entombments and casket burials. Anyone – and everyone – can be interned at Lake View. http://www.lakeviewcemetery.com
