Located in Conesville, Ohio, the Columbus Southern Power Company (aka Conesville Coal Preparation Company - CCPCo) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc. (AEP), a public utility holding company. They “Company” is engaged in the generation, purchase, transmission and distribution of electric power in central and southern Ohio. – CCPCo also provides coal-washing services for one of their sister companies, the Simco Inc. generating station, which is engaged in turn leasing a coal conveyor system to CCPCo.
