Fujifilm’s Array of Digicams Accomodates All Digital Photographers, From Digital Novice to Serious E

From practical family cameras to stylish models or cameras that appeal to the serious photographer, Fujifilm has a camera for every consumer. The company’s comprehensive FinePix digital camera line-up makes it easy for photographers of all skill levels to capture moments just as their eye sees them.

Many of the FinePix cameras in Fujifilm’s stable possesses the company’s proprietary Real Photo Technology - these include the FinePix E900, FinePix F20, FinePix F30, FinePix F31fd, FinePix S5200, FinePix S6000fd, FinePix S9100, FinePix V10 and FinePix Z3. Each produces images of exceptional quality under a variety of shooting conditions with many benefits including reduced noise for sharper pictures, better low-light shooting, faster operation and higher shutter speeds that minimize blurriness in photos.

The FinePix A400 and A500 were the first entry-level digital cameras to incorporate Fujifilm’s Super CCD technology, with sensors of four MegaPixels and five MegaPixels respectively. The FinePix A400 and A500 feature four scene modes—portrait, landscape, sport and night—for optimal camera settings in a variety of shooting environments, and a LCD display that is easier to view in direct sunlight or a brightly lit room, thanks to an anti-glare coating. Designed to suit users of all photographic skill levels, the flexible FinePix E900 expands with users as they broaden their photographic expertise and is a great choice for families with multiple photographers, consumers who are interested in growing their photography skills and photo hobbyists who seek a powerful feature set.

In addition to a 4x Fujinon optical zoom lens, 9.0 MegaPixel Super CCD HR sensor and two-inch LCD screen, the FinePix E900 incorporates advanced camera features, such as a mode dial for easy access to common shooting functions, RAW mode and optional lens adapters. Fujifilm’s Real Photo Technology enables FinePix E900 to achieve higher shutter speeds in order to minimize blur in photos at ISO equivalent settings as high as 800. The FinePix E900 is currently available at a price of $349.

Smart: The ‘F’ Series

FinePix F470
Even though the FinePix F470 is no thicker than a deck of playing cards, it packs a powerful imaging punch with a 6.0 MegaPixel Super CCD sensor, a 3x Fujinon optical zoom lens and a finely tuned processor. The FinePix F470 also includes 16MB of internal memory and a large 2.5-inch LCD that brightens in low-light environments, ensuring that photographers are not left in the dark.

FinePix F650
For users seeking extra-powerful zoom capabilities in a point-and-shoot camera, the 6.3 MegaPixel FinePix F650 boasts a 5x Fujinon optical zoom lens, bringing the photographer even closer to the subject or action. Further enhancing the visual experience, this camera features a huge 3-inch LCD display with 230,000 pixels.

FinePix F20
The compact metal frame of the FinePix F20 houses a 6.3 MegaPixel Super CCD Sensor, a 2.5-inch LCD, and a Picture Stabilization option which sets ISO sensitivities as high as 2000 for images with less blur. Users can choose to use full auto mode, enhanced shutter and aperture priority manual modes or one of 15 pre-programmed scene modes, including Natural Light & With Flash, which allows users to take two photos at once-one with flash and one without- and then keep the one that looks most pleasing.

FinePix F30
The FinePix F30 takes family photography to an unprecedented level by combining the standout features of the FinePix F20 with outstanding battery life and full-resolution ISO equivalency speeds as high as 3200, a level of light sensitivity that was previously found only in advanced consumer and professional digital cameras. As the world’s first point-and-shoot digital camera for consumers with this level of light sensitivity, the FinePix F30 is capable of faster shutter speeds, which lessen the likelihood of blurry pictures caused by ever-active children, fidgety pets, dimly-lit scene conditions or camera movement due to an unsteady hand.

The FinePix F20 is available at $229 with the FinePix F30 available at $329.

Rounding out Fujifilm’s ‘F-Series’ is the recently announced FinePix F31fd - standing out as the first pocketable digital camera from Fujifilm to feature the company’s new Face Detection Technology. Similar in style to the FinePix F30, the FinePix F31fd adds Face Detection to the same unprecedented light sensitivities up to ISO 3200 at full resolution, Picture Stabilization and ‘i-Flash’ system that made the FinePix F30 such a breakthrough camera. FinePix S5200, S6000fd, and f9100
For those who are looking to make their first venture into the world of feature-rich, SLR-styled digital cameras, the FinePix ‘S’ Series is an excellent choice. The FinePix S5200, FinePix S6000fd and the FinePix S9100 combine operational simplicity with impressive zoom range, advanced functionality, high light sensitivities and top-notch image quality.

The FinePix S5200 features Fujifilm’s proprietary Real Photo Technology, a 5 MegaPixel Super CCD Sensor and 10x Fujinon optical zoom lens, delivering ultra-high sensitivity with low noise, fast operational speeds and reduced power consumption. This allows users to capture brilliant images with every nuance of light and color, even in low-light situations without a flash. In addition to full Auto Mode, users can choose from Manual, Macro, Movie, Burst/Continuous and 5 pre-programmed Scene Position Modes (Portrait, Night Scene, Landscape, Natural Light and Anti-Blur). The 6.3 MegaPixel FinePix S6000fd was the first digital camera in Fujifilm’s line-up with Face Detection Technology. Designed with the more serious photo enthusiast in mind, the new FinePix S9100 features a 10.7x Fujinon optical zoom lens, 9.0 MegaPixel Fujifilm Super CCD sensor and ISO levels of up to 1600. The FinePix S9100 incorporates Fujifilm’s proprietary Picture Stabilization and i-Flash technologies which work together to ensure sharp, blur-free photos in a range of lighting conditions.

The FinePix S5200, S6000fd and S9100 are all currently available and are priced at $299, $499 and $599 respectively.

The FinePix V10 and FinePix Z3 come equipped with 5.1 MegaPixel Super CCD sensors and Fujifilm’s Real Photo Technology, which does an outstanding job of removing graininess or “noise” from digital pictures, and Picture Stabilization, which reduces blur in digital images.

Beyond the distinctive square body of the FinePix V10, which is available in a choice of an attractive metallic orange or gun-metal grey with chrome accents, the most noticeable physical feature is this camera’s enormous 3-inch “smart” LCD display with 230,000 pixel resolution, which brightens up for easy viewing in low-light environments.
