PhotoWorks.com Adds Picnik.com Editing Tools

PhotoWorks(R), Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PHTW), an Internet-based personal publishing company and photography community, today announced that it has added Picnik.com’s Web- based photo editing tools to the array of features available on PhotoWorks.com. These tools make it easy for people to crop or rotate their images, fix red-eye, adjust brightness and contrast, and apply additional special effects.

Some of the Picnik special effects features PhotoWorks’ users can now apply include borders, shapes, sepia, black and white, vignette, color boost or soften, and matte effects. Picnik also enables users to add text, resize, crop and adjust exposure to any PhotoWorks’ photo, and is integrated into PhotoWorks wherever users edit their photos.

“PhotoWorks’ goal has always been to give our users creative ways to tell their stories through photography and digital images and share them with others,” said Jeff Few, PhotoWorks senior product manager. “The addition of Picnik’s first-rate, easy-to-use editing tools give our users even more ways to exercise their creativity while preserving their memories.”
